JoAnne visited for a couple weeks. We were very happy to have her here. She was a real trooper. She did a lot of things with and for the kids. She already had Luci in California for a couple months and she was still not worn out! That's quite a grandmother!
She took Luci riding every day she was here. Nate even got on the horse once or twice and he never wants to do that. Luci, of course, thought it was great.
She took the kids to the County Fair a couple times. Nate won first place in his age group in the ice cream eating contest. It was not how much you ate, but how fast you ate it. 'Not the doctor's recommendation, but fun for the kids, I guess. He is wearing one of his prizes which is the hat with cow-like design.
We were sad to see JoAnne leave and look forward to seeing her again in December.
